Hi All Fashion lovers!

My name is Jax and I’m proudly South African!

I have created this blog to talk about fashion and what is considered true expression. I called my blog, Fash! (Fashion) and Pression! (Expression), whereby anything and everything to do with Fashion goes. You will see I am passionate about Fashion!

I have a 3 year fashion design diploma from LISOF, as well as being lucky enough to have mingled with the fashion know hows of SA Fashion. Doing my internship with SA Fashion Week, was one of the best experiences of my life. I got a chance to see the mechanics of how it was run, who was involved and what it took to organise it. The highlight, meeting and working for Dion Chang. The second highlight of my early fashion career has most definatley got to be meeting Norman Callan from “The Boys”. He lectured us in making ball gowns for Estee Lauder, he, for me is what I call a true designer, a master at his craft. Watching him work is so incredibly inspiring. He does not fit your typical “Fashionista” profile as he is honestly one of the nicest most humble human beings I have ever met with an extremely wicked sense of humor.
